Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries.
Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.
Bowmore 1989/2005 Natural Cask strength
In beautiful jewelry box with hinge and latch.
Bowmore created this vintage bottling from 134 barrels in 1989.
The malt was bottled in natural alcohol strength, it is not cold-filtered (Non-Chillfiltered) and free of dyes!
The whiskey was stored for 16 years in selected bourbon barrels
The whiskey has a nice, light straw color.
Aromas of candied fruits, toffee and marzipan, associated with the unmistakable smoky note of a Bowmore.
Slight traces of soft fruit and peat.
The finish is light, elegant and harmonious.
