Hazelburn
Hazelburn was once the largest distillery in Campbeltown.
Probably founded in 1796, Hazelburn serves since 1925 only as a warehouse.
The old buildings now belong to the Mitchell family, the owners of Springbank and Longrow.
Hazelburn has been distilling at Springbank since 1997.
The triple distilled distillate is produced without peat addition.
This 8 year old is the very first original bottling of a Hazelburn.
The edition is limited to a total of 5,100 bottles worldwide.
There are three different labels with three different designs (1,700 bottles each).
The motifs ("Malting Floor", "Stills" and "Cask") were painted by Ian Gray and hang in the original in the Springbank distillery.
Like all bottlings from Springbank, of course, this is not cold-filtered and without dyes.
