Ardbeg Very Young 1998/2004 58.3% vol. 0,7l
In 1997, Glenmorangie Ardbeg of Allied Distillers bought large amounts of money to renovate the distillery that had been closed for so many years to produce whiskey, which many critics refer to as the best in the world.
This bottling contains the first distillates after the reopening in 1997.
Only "first fill casks" were used.
The whiskey was bottled at the tender age of six.
With this whiskey Ardbeg wants to build on the good old times of the distillery, when the whiskey was so rich and complex like no other and above all so peaty that a spoon gets stuck in it !!
The taste and the aroma are typically Ardbeg - smoky, iodine-containing, peaty, salty.
Without cold filtration and without dyes!
