Port Ellen 1976/2000 Douglas Laing 50% vol. 0,7l

BR Douglas Laing & Co.
BR Douglas Laing & Co. was founded in 1950 as a blending company.
The core business is still old-fashioned blends - the main markets for Douglas Laing & Co. are Latin America and Asia.
Since this business has been declining since the mid-90s, it has been decided to fill the best malts from its own stock as a single malt.
This resulted in the high quality "The Old Malt Cask" series as well as the "McGibbon's Provenance" series.

Port Ellen "The Old Malt Cask"
Since 1983, Port Ellen is no longer produced.
The malt of this distillery is one of the largest in Scotland - pithy and peaty, but not quite as heavy as other Islay malts.
