Douglas Laings Sonderabfüllung für den Sommer 2021!

Abgefüllt mit einer natürlichen Faßstärke von 53,8%vol. Alkohol, feiert Big Peats neueste Abfüllung die Regenfälle auf der schottischen Whiskyinsel Islay - schließlich ist der Regen von heute der Whisky von morgen!
Das Wort Peatrichor (oder Petrichor) beschreibt den erdigen Duft, der bei Regenfällen entsteht, wenn die Tropfen auf trockenen Boden prasseln.

Dias Etikett und die Geschenkdose zeigen den Big Peat in einem gelben Regenmantel, während der Himmel auf seiner Heimatinsel Islay die Schleusen öffnet.

Nur etwas mehr als 5.000 Flaschen dieser Sonderabfüllung sind weltweit erhältlich.
Im Einklang mit der Big Peat-Philosophie wurde die Abfüllung ohne Färbung oder Kühlfiltration hergestellt.

Ein waschechter Blended Malt Whisky von der Insel mit Noten von Torfrauch, feuchter Erde und einem lederigen Charme
