Die Speyside-Destillerie wurde um 1885 gegründet.
Glen Spey produziert einen leichten, duftigen Malt, der leider viel zu selten als Single Malt abgefüllt wird, da der Großteil der Produktion in die Blends von J&B (Justerini & Brooks) geht.

Aroma: leicht und wohlduftend nach frischem Heu und frisch geschnittenem Gras, dazu Bienenwachs und Honig mit leichten Anflügen von Baumharz
Geschmack: weich und mild im Geschmack, wieder das Heu, jetzt fruchtiger werdend, dazu Malz und Nüsse
Abgang: mittlerer, weicher Abgang mit nussigen Noten

Sehr mild, zu Beginn trockener alkoholischer Geschmack. Am Ende harmonischer. Honig, etwas fruchtig dazu. Solide, jedoch wenig Charakter.
